Simple Preparation

With the optional microwave popper: Add popcorn, put the lid on, and microwave for up to 4 minutes, stopping when popping slows. No oil is needed for popping. Carefully remove the hot popper, then add your seasoning as directed. The popper is dishwasher safe.

On the stovetop: For approximately 2–3 cups of popped popcorn, use 1 tablespoon canola oil and 2 tablespoons popcorn kernels.

1. Add the oil and 3–4 kernels to a medium saucepan. Cover, turn the heat to high, and wait for the test kernels to pop.
2. Add the remaining kernels, replace the lid, and gently swirl the pot to coat them with oil.
3. When popping becomes rapid, crack the lid slightly to release steam while keeping the popcorn contained. Swirl again if needed to redistribute the oil.
